As a Scheduler at ComForCare, you will oversee the scheduling and coordination of client services, manage staffing assignments, ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations, and maintain confidentiality of client and employee information
Position Summary:
This is a full-time (30+ hour) mostly on-site role located in McLean, VA. The Scheduler will be responsible for managing daily schedules for caregivers and clients, ensuring all shifts are covered efficiently. Other duties include maintaining accurate records, coordinating with caregivers and clients, handling schedule changes, and providing exceptional customer service to meet client needs. The Scheduler will also assist with administrative tasks to support the operations of the home care agency.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage scheduling and appointments effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, caregivers, and team members
- Proficiency in computer software and tools, including scheduling software, Microsoft Office 365, or Google Suite
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle unexpected scheduling conflicts or changes
- Previous experience in scheduling, healthcare, or home care services is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
